A fun & tangy snack featuring crisp pickles and creamy cheese, all wrapped in a soft tortilla. Perfect for parties, picnics, or a quick bite to satisfy your cravings.

I created this snack after searching for something unique & veggie-forward at our weekend picnic, and it was immediately a hit with both kids and adults. The combination of tangy pickles and creamy cheese in a soft wrap was so addictive that everyone kept reaching for more.

Ingredients

  • Main: 4 large flour tortillas (8-inch), 4 large dill pickles (whole), 4 slices cheddar cheese (or Swiss), 4 oz (115 g) cream cheese (softened)
  • Optional Extras: 2 tbsp chopped fresh dill, 1 tbsp finely diced red onion, 1 tbsp yellow mustard

Instructions

Prep the tortillas:
Lay out the tortillas on a clean surface.
Add cream cheese:
Spread 1 oz (about 2 tbsp) of softened cream cheese evenly over each tortilla.
Add cheddar:
Place a slice of cheddar cheese in the center of each tortilla.
Add extras:
If using, sprinkle chopped dill and red onion over the cheese, and drizzle with mustard.
Add pickle:
Place one whole dill pickle at the edge of each tortilla.
Roll up:
Roll up the tortilla tightly around the pickle, ensuring all filling is enclosed.
Serve:
Slice each roll into 1-inch pieces or serve whole as desired.
