- Combine warm milk, warm water, granulated sugar, and active dry yeast in a large mixing bowl. Allow mixture to sit for 5 to 10 minutes until foamy.
- Stir melted unsalted butter, large egg, and salt into the foamy yeast mixture. Mix thoroughly until incorporated.
- Gradually add all-purpose flour to the wet mixture, blending until a soft dough forms. Transfer dough to a floured surface and knead for 6 to 8 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Place the kneaded dough in a greased bowl. Cover and set aside in a warm space for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
- Preheat oven to 375°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Punch down the risen dough and portion into 12 equal segments.
- Blend shredded mozzarella cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, softened cream cheese, and dried Italian herbs in a bowl for the filling.
- Flatten each dough segment into a disc. Place a heaping tablespoon of cheese mixture into the center, then securely pinch edges to seal and form a ball. Arrange seam-side down on prepared baking sheet.
- Cover the assembled rolls and allow to rise for 20 minutes.
- Brush each roll with melted butter and sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese and chopped parsley.
- Place rolls in oven and bake for 20 to 25 minutes until golden brown and cheese is bubbly inside.
- Allow rolls to cool slightly before serving. Enjoy warm for optimal flavor and texture.
