  • Mix-ins: 1 cup (170 g) Cadbury mini eggs, chopped; 1 cup (170 g) pastel M&Ms

Instructions

1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9x13-inch (23x33 cm) baking pan with parchment paper, leaving some overhang for easy removal.
2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
3. In a large mixing bowl, whisk the melted butter with the brown sugar and granulated sugar until smooth and combined.
4. Add the eggs and vanilla extract, whisking until fully incorporated.
5. Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture using a spatula, mixing just until combined. Do not overmix.
6. Gently fold in the chopped Cadbury mini eggs and half of the pastel M&Ms.
7. Spread the dough evenly into the prepared pan. Sprinkle the remaining M&Ms and a few extra mini egg pieces over the top for decoration.
8. Bake for 23–26 minutes, or until the edges are golden and the center is just set. Do not overbake for soft bars.
9. Remove from the oven and allow to cool completely in the pan before lifting out and cutting into bars.
