# Directions:
01 - In a mixing bowl, whisk together mascarpone cheese, whole milk, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract until the mixture is smooth and lightly thickened.
02 - In a shallow dish, stir together the cooled brewed espresso and coffee liqueur, if using.
03 - Quickly dip each ladyfinger into the coffee mixture for 1 to 2 seconds, then break them into bite-sized pieces.
04 - Arrange a scoop of vanilla ice cream at the bottom of each tall glass, top with a few coffee-soaked ladyfinger pieces, and spoon over a generous amount of mascarpone mixture.
05 - Continue layering ice cream, ladyfingers, and mascarpone mixture. Finish with a final spoonful of mascarpone mixture as the top layer.
