# Directions:

01 - Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add onion, carrots, and celery; sauté for 6 to 7 minutes until softened.

03 - Add diced tomatoes, vegetable broth, oregano, thyme, chili flakes if using, salt, and pepper. Bring mixture to a gentle simmer.
04 - Stir in cannellini and borlotti beans. Simmer uncovered for 10 minutes to meld flavors.
05 - Add small pasta and cook according to package instructions (about 8 to 10 minutes) until al dente, stirring occasionally.
