08 - 1 cup finely chopped pecans
09 - 1 tablespoon brown sugar

# Directions:
01 - Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
02 - In a mixing bowl, thoroughly combine the mashed sweet potato, egg, maple syrup, orange zest, cinnamon, salt, and flour until a soft dough forms.
03 - In a separate shallow dish, mix the chopped pecans with brown sugar. Scoop portions of the sweet potato dough, approximately 1 tablespoon each, and roll them in the pecan mixture to coat evenly.
04 - Arrange the coated bites on the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the bites are set and lightly crisp on the edges.
05 - Remove the bites from the oven. Finish with a sprinkle of flaky salt and a drizzle of maple syrup or honey.
