# Expert Advice:

01 -
  • It stretches farther than regular guacamole without sacrificing that silky texture you crave.
  • The protein bump means you can eat this guilt-free as a full snack, not just a side.
  • It's bright, quick to make, and naturally vegan without tasting like you're missing anything.
02 -
  • If you don't cool the edamame after cooking, you'll end up with warm mush when you blend it instead of that lovely creamy texture.
  • Don't over-process once the avocado goes in; three or four pulses is all you need, or you'll end up with something dense and sad instead of light and appetizing.
03 -
  • Buy frozen shelled edamame instead of the pods; it saves you prep time and honestly tastes better in this application.
  • Lime juice is your secret weapon for preventing browning and keeping everything tasting bright, so don't go light on it even if you think you might.
